Alessia Cara Releases New Single Ready, Announces North American Headline Tour

Alessia Cara has released a new single.
Ready is the first taste of her new EP, ‘This Summer’, which will arrive on September 6 via DefJam Recordings. The track plays out as a modern take on reggae-pop, with syncopated rhythms in the verses and a bold chorus of layered vocals.
After touring with Shawn Mendes this summer, Cara will embark on her own headline run of North American dates this fall for The Pains Of Growing Tour. The trek takes its name from her second album, which came out in November 2018.
