Battles will return with their fourth album this autumn, their first full-length in four years.

Now operating as a duo, multi-instrumentalist Ian Williams and drummer John Stanier are set to release 'Juice B Crypts' on October 18 through Warp Records. Following in the wake of its predecessors, 'Mirrored', 'Glass Drop', and 'La Di Da Di', the new record is the first from the art-rock outfit to be written and recorded in their native New York.

It's introduced by a tumultuous, experimental new song Titanium 2 Step, which features Sal Principato from '80s New York band Liquid Liquid. In addition to Principato, several other guests collaborate with Battles on 'Juice B Crypts', including Shabazz Palaces, Tune-Yards, Xenia Rubinos, and Yes frontman Jon Anderson. Discussing the album, Williams said:

"It's about chord progressions, resolutions, returning home. Take that and throw it into a blender of modern electronic tools like glitching devices, or use melodic lines and take them and regurgitate them and pulverise the traditional stuff but at the same time try and retain harmonic relationships while completely smashing them up."

Alongside the album details, Battles have also announced a headline show at London’s Shacklewell Arms on August 13. They'll also stop in Leeds before appearing at ArcTanGent on August 16 and a run of dates in October.

'Juice B Crypts' tracklist:

1. Ambulance
2. A Loop So Nice...
3. They Played It Twice (ft. Xenia Rubinos)
4. Sugar Foot (ft. Jon Anderson and Prairie WWWW)
