Bon Iver Release New Album 'I,I' Three Weeks Early

Thursday, 08 August 2019 Written by Jon Stickler

Bon Iver have released their new album 'i,i' three weeks early.

After spending the day systematically sharing a number of new songs, their fourth record is now available to stream and purchase in full. It was originally due for release on August 30 via Jagjaguwar.

Head below to listen and watch the videos for iMi, We, Holyfields, Marion, Salem, Sh'Diah, RABi, and Naeem. Justin Vernon and band previously shared a different version of the latter with his collaboration with TU Dance

iMi features electronic percussion, We is a shorter alternative track, while Marion is a simple folk song. Head below to listen to them and then make your own mind up about the others.

The tracks follow the previously released Faith, Jelmore, Hey Ma and U (Man Like), which arrived along with the announcement of the '22, A Million' follow-up last month.

Bon Iver will tour the new record across North America this fall.

Wed 20 Nov 2019
With the economics of the music industry in a prolonged state of flux, bands have found new ways to get by. Cold War Kids, who burst onto the American indie scene with ‘Robbers and Cowards’ in 2006, have decided to release three short albums instead of one full LP. ‘New Age Norms 1’ is the first in that series and to longtime fans the results will be pleasing.
