Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds Release New Single A Dream Is All I Need To Get By

Noel Gallagher has released a new single.
A Dream Is All I Need To Get By is the second cut from his new EP with the High Flying Birds, after the title track arrived last month. ‘This Is The Place’ is out September 27.
Opening with spaced-out percussion, the new song features an earworm melody and buoyant backing vocals with floating reverb throughout. Gallagher said:
“To my ears it sounds like one of those iconic B-sides by The Smiths, only obviously not as good. A song that was born very quickly which is always a good sign... like it's always existed... somewhere... Manchester probably."
Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, who put out the 'Black Star Dancing' EP in June, will open for U2 at their Australian and New Zealand shows in November.
