Kesha Releases Video For New Track Raising Hell Featuring Big Freedia

Thursday, 24 October 2019 Written by Helen Payne

Kesha has released a new single.

Raising Hell is the first song from the pop singer’s new album, ‘High Road’, which is due to arrive on January 10 via Kemosabe/RCA. It will follow up 2017's 'Rainbow'.

The track, which features Big Freedia, shows off soaring vocals alongside uplifting keys, beats and a looping saxophone melody, with the latter recalling Macklemore’s Thrift Shop refrain. “I don’t want to go to heaven without raising hell,” she sings in the chorus.

Its Luke Gilford-directed video depicts Kesha living it up in a throwback style television show and at a gospel church, before her life takes a dark turn.
