Beaten Down is an experimental indie-rock track featuring ominous keys and Van Etten's trademark emotive vocals. It's her first new offering since the release of her fifth album, 'Remind Me Tomorrow', in 2019.
The song arrives with a monochrome video directed by Nicky and Juliana Giraffe, and stars dancers Allison and Veronica Huber.
