Panic Shack Reveal Debut Single Who's Got My Lighter?

Panic Shack have released their debut single.
Who’s Got My Lighter? is a high energy punk rock track incorporating heavy guitar chords with a primal vocal performance from Sarah Harvey, providing a song that has an element of Amyl and the Sniffers about it. Harvey said:
"It was payday, I had just treated myself to a fresh pouch of baccy, lovely. I met the gals at the pub and started rolling, there's a lot of anticipation. A passerby stops and asks to roll a ciggie… yep no problem, here you go. I passed over the entire pouch of baccy to this increasingly shifty-looking woman. She didn't just go for a pinch, she goes for a full fist grasp on at least 25G and scarpers. She’s pegging it down the road, I start screaming ‘OH! GIVE ME MY BACCY BACK!’ After I have a few moments to cool off I have to look on the bright side... the sun is shining, I just got paid, and I'm at the pub with my best mates. I realise there’s more to life than baccy… ‘Baccy comes and goes.'"
The Cardiff band recorded the track with Buzzard Buzzard Buzzard's Tom Rees at his Rat Trap studio. It's accompanying video, meanwhile, was shot in an abandoned betting shop by Edwin Burdis.
Panic Shack will play a headline show at Clwb Ifor Bach in their hometown on February 28, following which they've lined up slots at Wales Goes Pop! And Focus Wales. Tickets are on sale now.
