Willie Nelson Postpones Release Of New Album 'First Rose Of Spring'

Tuesday, 24 March 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

Willie Nelson has pushed back the release of his 70th album.

'First Rose Of Spring' was due to arrive on April 24, but has been pushed back to July 3 — likely due to the coronavirus pandemic.

To date, the country icon has previewed the LP with two songs; Our Song penned by Chris Stapleton and the title track. The release also contains two songs that Nelson wrote with Buddy Cannon, plus collaborations with Toby Keith, Pete Graves and more.
