Willie Nelson Announces New LP 'First Rose Of Spring', Shares Title Track

Willie Nelson will release his 70th album this year.
’First Rose of Spring’ is due out on April 24 via Legacy Recordings. The follow-up to 2019's ’Ride Me Back Home’ was produced by Buddy Cannon, who also co-penned two tracks with Nelson — Blue Star and Love Just Laughed.
Alongside the news, the country legend has also shared the cover art, created by his son Micah, as well as the record’s mournful title track, which sits alongside interpretations of tracks written by Toby Keith, Chris Stapleton, and friend and contemporary Billy Joe Shaver. Nelson will perform with Chris Stapleton on his All-American Road Show on March 14 in Texas and on April 25 in Kentucky.
