Foals Announce Short Film Series FBC Transmissions, Share First Instalment

Friday, 01 May 2020 Written by Laura Johnson

Foals have announced a 12-part short film series.

FBC Transmissions finds the band looking back on the creation of and album cycle for their 2019 double record, 'Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost'.

It was curated by Transgressive Records co-founder Toby L, who directed the Rip Up The Road documentary, and the band's regular collaborator Kit Monteith. They said:

“The cameras have been rolling more or less non-stop for the past 18 months, from the creation of the band’s recent albums, all the way through to the ‘ENSWBL’ world tour. We wanted to re-inhabit those moments in a time where it feels that introspection is more important than ever, offering new glimpses into what has been such a crucial era for the band and society at large. Every week’s missive will provide a concise, intimate insight into the band’s world, alternating week on week. We hope each one has the potential to, in some small way, brighten your day.”

The band recently rescheduled their upcoming UK shows to 2021 due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Head below for further details.

They will also feature on a one-off compilation album that's set to be released in aid of NHS Key Workers and funding specialist PPE for hospitals across the UK. Find out more here.
