Katy Perry Shares New Single Daisies From Forthcoming Album

Katy Perry has shared her new single after recently confirming release details of her forthcoming album.
Daisies is a typically powerful Perry ballad that unfurls from gentle acoustic guitar into an arena-rattling close, with its video arriving courtesy of director Liza Voloshin.
“I wrote this song a couple months ago as a call to remain true to the course you’ve set for yourself, regardless of what others may think,” Perry wrote on Twitter. “Recently, it has taken a new meaning for me, in light of what the whole world is experiencing.”
The currently untitled album, meanwhile, is expected on August 14, following up 2017’s ‘Witness’. Earlier this year Perry revealed her pregnancy alongside the release of Never Worn White.
