JPEGMAFIA Shares New Single Last Dance!

Tuesday, 01 September 2020 Written by Jon Stickler

JPEGMAFIA has dropped a new single.

Last Dance! marks the final offering in a series of standalone tracks released by the experimental hip hop artist this year. Revealing it on Twitter, he wrote: "i'm high and i’m finna make it public."

It follows up the previously shared Living SingleBALD! — which received a remix featuring Denzel Curry, Covered In Money, BODYGUARD! CUTIE PIE!, rough 7, and THE BENDS!.

A glitchy beat is juxtaposed with auto-tuned vocals and light, floaty synths to create a texturally contrasting track that runs for just over two minutes. It comes with a self-directed video which finds JPEGMAFIA rapping with a friend against a wall of neon signs. Take a look below.

The Brooklyn-born artist's last album was 2019's 'All My Heroes Are Cornballs'.
