Courage To Change is the second song to be shared from the soundtrack to her upcoming directorial debut Music, which stars Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom, Jr. and regular collaborator Maddie Ziegler. The first was Together.
The dramatic pop song revolves around ominous strings, dramatic beats, off-kilter keys and uplifting vocals, with lyrics delivering a reassuring message of empowerment. A note accompanying the track reads:
"The only thing that remains constant is change. Now more than ever we need to pull together to fight for humanity, social justice, equality & so much more. It's time for real change."
