Gorillaz have announced a summer London show.
Following a series of European performances, the virtual band will take their Song Machine Tour to the O2 Arena on August 11. Tickets go on general sale at 9am on November 6.
The announcement coincides with the release of their new album, 'Song Machine | Season One | Strange Timez', a collection of collaborations from their ongoing Song Machine series, including tracks with Elton John, the Cure's Robert Smith, St Vincent, Fatoumata Diawara, ScHoolboy Q, Slowthai and Slaves, Georgia and Peter Hook, Skepta and Tony Allen, Octavian and more.
The band will celebrate the new record's arrival with a livestream event at 5.23pm GMT today (October 23) billed as Song Machine with Friendz. They will also perform it live for the first time via a global livestream in December. Head here for further details.
