Black Country, New Road will unveil their long-awaited debut album next year.

'For The First Time' is set to arrive on February 5 via Ninja Tune, and will contain the newly released lead single Science Fair. The erratic, visceral math-rock track builds up to a propulsive surge of blistering riffs, supported by a restless rhythm section.

The new LP will also contain reworkings of the band's early tracks Sunglasses and Athens, France, alongside a handful of new tracks. Frontman Isaac Wood explained:

“We see this as being a stop in the road.

"I've always been interested in a really honest portrayal of what a band is and what they've been working on. I think it's really nice if people can see an artist like: this was them in the early days, this was their next phase and that they're quite clear and honest about genuine progression as people and musicians.”

In July, the seven-piece announced a run of headline UK and Ireland dates for February and March 2021. The remaining tickets are on sale now.
