The clip accompanies This Is Christmas, one of two original tracks on the New York duo's festive new LP, 'It's Christmas All Over', which landed in October. The album marks their first holiday full-length and features covers of favourites such as Let It Snow, Hark! The Herald Angels Sing and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas.
The track finds singer John Rzeznik crooning over gently strummed acoustic guitar and the steady jingle of sleigh bells, while the promo shows the pair driving home for the holidays through a snowy landscape. Take a look below.
The group recently delivered a career-spanning set for an immersive online concert. In December, they'll perform songs from the new album during a special augmented reality livestream show broadcast via FanTracks. Further details are still to be revealed.
Goo Goo Dolls dropped their most recent studio record and 12th overall, 'Miracle Pill', in 2019. This summer, they rescheduled their North American tour to 2021 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
