Less Than Jake have released a new song.
Anytime and Anywhere is the latest preview of the ska-punk stalwarts' new album, 'Silver Linings', which is set to land on December 11 via Pure Noise Records. It follows previous cuts Dear Me and Lie To Me.
Musically, the song is the upbeat, party-ready hubbub we've come to expect from the quintet, while lyrically things are a little more earnest. "It took forever but I found you, Someone to carry me home when I’m breaking to the downside, And when I’m riding too high," sings bassist Roger Lima. He explained:
"This song is sort of a shout out to the good times when you're actually in the 'silver' parts of your life or a relationship. It's a reminder to stop and smell the flowers when there happen to be some flowers to smell... because good times fly by when you're living them. Cherish those moments and the people in your life that are there for you through thick and thin."
