Gojira Set April Release For Seventh Album 'Fortitude', Share New Single Born For One Thing

Gojira have announced their seventh album.
'Fortitude' will arrive on April 30 via Roadrunner Records and include the surprise 2020 single Another World along with the newly shared Born For One Thing.
The dynamic new cut is crushingly heavy and arrives paired with a Charles De Meyer-directed cinematic video shot in France and Belgium. Take a look below along with the record's artwork and tracklist.
The follow-up to the French prog-metal giants' 2016's Grammy-nominated 'Magma' was recorded and produced by vocalist and guitarist Joe Duplantier at Silver Cord Studio in New York. He also created the cover art. Discussing the song's anti-consumerist message, he said:
"We have to practice detaching ourselves from everything, beginning with actual things. Own less possessions, and give what you don’t need away, because one day we’ll have to let everything go, and if we don’t, we’ll just become ghosts stuck between dimensions."
The band will support Deftones on their upcoming rescheduled North American tour.
