Wolf Alice have shared a new track.

Following The Last Man On Earth, Smile serves as the second taster of the quartet's upcoming third album, 'Blue Weekend', due out on June 11 via Dirty Hit.

The uncompromising offering of edgy alt-rock is inspired by vocalist Ellie Rowsell's desire to fight back against those who try to define her. She said:

"This is one of the songs we wrote thinking that we would play it live. I miss that feeling of singing on stage. It’s like screaming into a pillow or something – you can get away with being more nasty. There’s a whole other part of me missing."

It comes with a video directed by Jordan Hemmingway, who also collaborated with the band on their previous single. Take a look below.

Wolf Alice will support the record with UK and Ireland tour dates throughout January 2022. Tickets are on sale now.
