The line-up for this year's BRIT Awards just got bigger.
Joining the already announced Harry Styles and Olivia Dean at Manchester's Co-op Live on February 28 will be English rockers Wolf Alice, who are nominated for Album Of The Year for 2025's 'The Clearing', Group Of The Year, and Best Alternative/Rock Act. Bassist Theo Ellis said:
“We’re truly honoured to get the opportunity to play this year’s BRIT Awards! Can’t wait to see what everyone’s wearing, can’t wait to see who else is playing, can’t wait to have ten mini wines (after we play). Most of all can’t wait for a big night out in Manny. Make sure to tune in and watch it all live on the telly.”
The nominations for this year's awards were revealed last week, with Dean and Lola Young leading the charge with five each. Last week also saw Jacob Alon announced as the recipient of the BRITs Critics' Choice award.
This year's event, which is being held outside of London for the first time, will be broadcast live on ITV and ITVX, with comedian and actor Jack Whitehall hosting.
In related news, Dean, Alon, Fatboy Slim, Lambrini Girls, Myles Smith, Jack Savoretti and Katherine Jenkins, kwn, Josh Baker, and Rossi are among the acts set to play intimate gigs in February for BRITs Week for War Child. Head here for more details.
Details of the BRITs Fringe, a city-wide programme curated by Manchester local music development organisation Brighter Sound, were unveiled earlier in January.
