Green Day, Fall Out Boy And Weezer Reschedule UK And European Hella Mega Tour To 2022

The UK and European leg of the Hella Mega Tour, starring Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer, has been rescheduled for a second time.
Due to continuing COVID-19 travel restrictions, the package show will now take over London Stadium, Huddersfield's John Smith's Stadium, Glasgow Green and Dublin’s RDS Arena in June 2022, alongside stops across the continent. Confirming the news, Green Day (pictured) said in a statement:
"Europe and UK - this past year has been chaotic to say the very least, and while we hoped we'd be able to make the Hella Mega Tour a reality for you this summer, COVID had other plans. With that being said, your shows will now be happening in 2022. Your tickets are good for the new dates, so make sure to hold onto them! And for all of you in the US, we're still planning on coming to see you this summer!"
The rearranged North American run will kick off on July 14 in Seattle. Original tickets will be honoured, and remaining tickets are on sale now.
Green Day dropped the single Here Comes The Shock in February. Earlier in April, meanwhile, Weezer shared I Need Some Of That, a track from their upcoming album 'Van Weezer', due out on May 7. Fall Out Boy's last release was the 2019 compilation 'Believers Never Die (Volume Two)'.
