J. Cole Announces New Album 'The Off-Season'

Thursday, 06 May 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

J. Cole has shared details of his sixth studio album.

The follow-up to 2018's 'KOD' and 2019's Dreamville Records compilation 'Revenge of the Dreamers III' is called 'The Off-Season' and will arrive on May 14.

The North Carolina rapper announced the news with a post on social media on May 4, sharing what appears to be the record's artwork. He wrote: "Just know this was years in the making."

In summer 2020, Cole dropped the tracks The Climb Back and Lion King On Ice. At the time, the singles were slated to appear on his next album, titled 'The Fall Off', though it's unclear if that project has been renamed 'The Off-Season' or is a separate release.
