Turnstile Set August Release For New LP 'Glow On', Post Blood Orange Collaboration Alien Love Call

Wednesday, 14 July 2021 Written by Jon Stickler

Turnstile have announced their new album.

The follow-up to 2018's 'Time & Space' is called 'Glow On' and will arrive on August 27 through Roadrunner Records.

Recorded alongside producer Mike Elizondo and co-produced by Yates, the LP will include the four singles — Holiday, Mystery, No Surprise and T.L.C. (Turnstile Love Connection) — featured on the Maryland genre-breaking band's 'Turnstile Love Connection' EP, released in June with a short film music video.

As a further preview, the group have shared new track Alien Love Call, a collaboration with Blood Orange that's somewhat subdued in comparison to Turnstile's typical fervent style, offering up a soothing melody and dreamlike vocals. It comes teamed with a video directed and edited by the band's Brendan Yates and Pat McCrory.

Dev Hynes also features on the cut Lonely Dezires, as well as taking on additional vocal duties on Endless. Head below to view the tracklist and cover art.

Turnstile will play a handful of shows in the US this summer, including festival sets at Firefly Music Festival in Delaware and Kentucky's Louder Than Life.
