Justified is the second cut, following the title track, to be lifted from her new album, 'Star-Crossed'. The follow-up to her 2018 Grammy Award-winning 'Golden Hour' is due out September 10.
The new song continues one of the record's themes of heartache atop a country-pop backdrop. "Moving onwards, feeling strong, but healing doesn’t happen in a straight line," she sings.
The single's accompanying video is taken from the record's Bardia Zeinali-directed accompanying film, star-crossed : the film, which will arrive the same day as the album.
