Following If You Ever Leave, I'm Coming With You, Ready For The High serves as the latest preview of the band's upcoming fifth studio LP, 'Fix Yourself, Not The World', due out on January 7 through AWAL.
Infused with blaring trumpets, the indie-pop track's accompanying video will premiere at 6pm BST today (October 14). Frontman Matthew "Murph" Murphy commented:
"Ready For The High is a 90's inspired track that I was excited to toss a load of trumpets into. The song is about being engulfed in a bad place, but rather than accepting this as immutable, acknowledging that it is only temporary and that better times are closer than they (currently) appear."
The band will embark on their All The Hits! Tour in spring 2022, with arena shows lined up in Leeds, Cardiff and London, where they'll play The O2. The run also includes gigs in Glasgow, Scarborough and Liverpool, where they'll take over Mountford Hall for three nights. They also have North American and European tour dates in the diary.
