Arctic Monkeys, Lorde And Nine Inch Nails To Headline Inaugural Primavera Sound Los Angeles Festival

The first wave of acts for Primavera Sound Los Angeles has been announced.

The Barcelona music festival will make its US debut at Los Angeles State Historic Park between September 16 and 18, after it was rescheduled in June to 2022 due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Arctic Monkeys, Lorde and Nine Inch Nails have been confirmed as headliners for the event, while other artists announced include James Blake, Stereolab, Mitski, Clairo, Khruangbin, King Krule, Arca, Kim Gordon, Tierra Whack, and Fontaines D.C.

Also set to perform are Darkside, Low, PinkPantheress, Helena Hauff, Jehnny Beth, Shellac, Cigarettes After Sex, Beak>, Danny L Harle, Jon Talabot, Tim Hecker, Mustafa, Dry Cleaning, Shygirl, and Amaarae, with more acts still to be revealed.

Previously purchased tickets will be honoured, with a pre-sale for remaining tickets opening at 10am PT on December 10. Any remaining tickets will go on general sale at 2pm that same day.

Primavera Sound Barcelona will go ahead across two weekends next June, featuring Massive Attack, Gorillaz, The Strokes, Tame Impala, Lorde, and The National, among many others.
