Charli XCX (pictured) and AJ Tracey have joined the line-up for Reading and Leeds!

The new additions follow the announcement that Måneskin and Jack Harlow pulled out of the festival to perform at an awards show. Organisers released a statement saying they were "saddened" by their withdrawal.

Rage Against The Machine also recently had to step down as headliners after being forced to cancel the whole of their upcoming UK and European tour to allow for frontman Zack de la Rocha's rehabilititation following an injury. The 1975 replaced them, and will headline Reading on the Sunday and Leeds the Friday, alongside Halsey.

To celebrate the festival's return following its cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, organisers have added a second main stage to each site, which is how they are now able to host six headliners: Arctic Monkeys, Dave, The 1975, Halsey, Megan Thee Stallion, and Bring Me The Horizon.

The event will again head to Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park over the upcoming August bank holiday weekend.

First staged in 1961, Reading is the original of the two festivals and is the world's oldest popular music festival still in existence. The bill always guarantees a diverse range of acts, including the finest in rock, punk, indie, metal, and more recently electronic artists and rap, from around the world.

Head below to keep up to date with the latest line-up news.
