Lights Announces Sixth Album 'Pep' With New Track Salt And Vinegar

Lights has announced her new album.
The follow-up to her 2020 Bandcamp record 'How To Sleep When You're On Fire' is called 'Pep' and will arrive on April 1 via Fueled By Ramen. She said:
"I’ve never understood the task more than I did when I was making this record. My vision feels complete, and every single component comes from this very intense evolution I’ve experienced in my personal life over the last few years."
She added: "We’re all products, we all market ourselves every single day. The idea behind ‘PEP’ is if you’re going to brand yourself, then brand yourself to happiness."
The news comes with the vibrant alt-pop track, Salt And Vinegar, which follows the previously unveiled cuts Real Thing and Prodigal Daughter, released in 2021.
That same year, she announced her North American Baby I'm Back Tour, which is scheduled to get underway in April.
