Pale Waves To Support Third Album 'Unwanted' With November UK Tour

Pale Waves have announced UK shows for the autumn, alongside details of their third studio album.
The British band will hit the road in November for their biggest headline gigs to date, with stops lined up in Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow, Dundee and London, where they'll tackle the O2 Academy Brixton. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on May 20.
To accompany the news, the quartet have announced their new LP, 'Unwanted', due out on August 12 via Dirty Hit Records.
The follow-up to 2021's 'Who Am I?' was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Zakk Cervini behind the control desk. As a preview, the group have shared the single Lies, a driving, pop-punk-leaning track that bubbles with the energy of '90s rock. Singer Heather Baron-Gracie said:
"Lies is about someone who built up my trust and destroyed it like a wrecking ball. It caused some real trust issues, but fortunately for me that person is no longer in my life. Once you do me wrong you’re gone!"
Discussing 'Unwanted', she added: "It was really the only thing this album could be called. It’s bold and unapologetic, and that’s what the Pale Waves community is about. We don’t need to fit a perfect mould, we don’t need to apologise for being ourselves, and we won’t change for anyone. That acceptance is what connects us."
