Soulfly Share New Track Scouring The Vile Featuring John Tardy Of Obituary

Soulfly have released a second single from their upcoming album.
The crushingly heavy Scouring The Vile features John Tardy of Obituary and will appear along with Superstition on their 12th studio LP, 'Totem', due out on August 5 via Nuclear Blast Records. Frontman Max Cavalera commented:
"Scouring the Vile is Soulfly's personal fuck you letter to cancer! The lyrics are angered by the loss of loved ones. It was amazing to share the vocals with an old veteran, John Tardy of Obituary."
The record marks the trio's first release without guitarist Marc Rizzo, who left the band in 2021 citing personal reasons, with producer and instrumentalist Arthur Rizk enlisted to fulfil lead duties. It also boasts collaborations with John Powers of Eternal Champion, as well as Chris Ulsh of Power Trip.
