Goo Goo Dolls Set August Release For 13th Studio LP 'Chaos In Bloom', Post New Song Yeah, I Like You

Goo Goo Dolls have announced their 13th studio album.
'Chaos In Bloom' will arrive though Warner Records on August 12, and marks the New York group's first full-length produced by frontman John Rzeznik. He said:
"Chaos in Bloom reminded us how special this whole thing is and to cherish the relationships that we have together. Where we’ve been, and where we’re going."
Bassist and songwriter Robby Takac added: "I've been trying to have a relationship with the bigger picture, and refining happiness and what it means from that perspective."
Comprising 10 songs, it was recorded at Dreamland Studios just outside Woodstock, New York, and is previewed by the lead single and the record's opener, Yeah, I Like You, a driving, acoustic guitar-led pop-rock track. Check out the accompanying video below.
Rzeznik commented: "In a world that is just drowning in social media and internet stars, many of whom are certainly talented, but many confirm that in 2022 you can be famous for doing nothing. Celebrity in this age has a very quick burn. It was hard not to be consumed by it during the pandemic."
The band will embark on their rescheduled The Miracle Pill Tour across North America this summer. The COVID-delayed trek shares its name with their 2019 album.
