Algiers have released a new track.

Set against fast-paced rattling beats, twisting and turning guitar lines, and a climactic mix of thrumming electronic effects and futuristic synths, Irreversible Damage features Rage Against The Machine frontman Zack de la Rocha contributing incendiary, razor-tongued bars.

"The end of that song is the sound of joy," said Algiers frontman Franklin James Fisher. "That's what hope sounds like in 2022 when everything's falling apart."

The track follows the previously unveiled Bite Back featuring Billy Woods and Backxwash, with both cuts set to appear on the Atlanta group's guest-heavy fourth studio album, 'SHOOK', due out on February 24 via Matador.

Algiers have UK and European shows scheduled for early 2023, including headline dates in London and Dublin. Tickets are on sale.
