Blur drummer Dave Rowntree has shared a fourth track from his upcoming debut album.

Following the earlier singles London Bridge, Devil's Island and HK, Tape Measure serves as the latest taster of 'Radio Songs', which is due out on January 20.

Influenced by Bollywood music, the glitchy, colourful offering focuses on, "anxiety – an unpleasant emotion of inner turmoil and dread", said Rowntree.

"We're fundamentally herd animals, whose main defensive tactic is running away and hiding," he continued. "We've no sharp claws or teeth to fight with. So we're over sensitized to danger. We see shapes in the shadows, faces in the fire. Disaster always lurks on the grey edges of our consciousness. On the upside, come the zombie apocalypse, we anxious people will already be in hiding, leaving all you smug normies to have your brains eaten."

In summer 2023, Rowntree will reunite with Blur for three huge comeback shows. The legendary Britpop band will play two dates at London's Wembley Stadium, on July 8 and 9, and Dublin's Malahide Castle on June 24. Tickets for the UK gigs are on sale now, with the Irish concert set to go on sale at 9am on November 25.
