Ben Folds Announces New Album 'What Matters Most' And 2023 Tour Dates

Ben Folds has announced a new album.
'What Matters Most' marks the singer-songwriter's first studio full-length in eight years, and will arrive on June 2 via New West Records, following up 2015's 'So There'.
Co-produced by Folds and Joe Pisapia in East Nashville, Tennessee, it features guest appearances by Dodie, Tall Heights, and Ruby Amanfu. Folds said:
"There’s a lifetime of craft and experience all focused into this one record. Sonically, lyrically, emotionally, I don’t think it’s an album I could have made at any other point in my career."
As a preview, Folds has shared the LP's jovial, poppy first single, Winslow Gardens, which combines sunny guitar licks and bright piano lines. Press play below, alongside the record's artwork and tracklist.
Folds will embark on a lengthy tour in March, which includes dates in North America and Europe, including stops across the UK in November. Tickets go on general sale at 10am local time on February 17.
