Lucy Dacus Shares Video For Night Shift

Thursday, 09 March 2023 Written by Jon Stickler

Lucy Dacus has shared a video for her single Night Shift.

The break-up ballad features on her 2018 sophomore LP, 'Historian', which will be reissued on red vinyl through Matatdor on May 26 to commemorate its fifth anniversary. It'll feature Dacus' first draft of the album's artwork.

The Jane Schoenbrun-directed clip, meanwhile, stars actors Jasmin Savoy Brown and E.R. Fightmaster, and was filmed at the Poconos Palace in East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania.

Since 'Historian', the singer-songwriter put out the '2019' EP, and her 2021 LP 'Home Video'. Earlier in 2022, Boygenius—Dacus' group with Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker—announced their debut album, 'The Record', due out on March 31.

The trio will play UK shows in London and Halifax in August, alongside a headline appearance at Edinburgh's Connect Festival. They also tour the US in June.
