KISS Cancel Opening Show Of UK Leg Of End Of The Road World Tour

KISS have cancelled the opening show of their summer UK tour.
The band confirmed a run of six stadium and arena dates back in December 2022, which are billed as the iconic glam-rockers' final live appearances together in the UK.
As part of their End Of The Road World Tour, the group were due to open the run at Plymouth Home Park Stadium on June 3. However, a statement posted on the venue's website has now confirmed that the gig has been cancelled:
"Sadly, KISS and Robomagic, the show’s promoter, have today announced that they are having to cancel the opening night of the upcoming KISS UK tour. The show at Plymouth Argyle's Home Park Stadium on Saturday 3rd June now will not happen due to travel, equipment and logistical complications. Tickets can be refunded or exchanged for other UK shows.
"Home Park are disappointed but understand the logistical constraints and wish the band all the best for the rest of the tour.
Ticket holders can exchange their Plymouth tickets for other UK dates on the End Of The Road Tour or request a refund. Please contact the point of purchase for more information."
A statement from a Home Park Stadium spokesperson read: "We are really sorry to hear that Kiss can no longer perform at Home Park Stadium this summer. Ticket holders are advised to contact the agent where they purchased their tickets from. We are looking forward to hosting two other major concerts at Home Park this year with Muse next weekend (27 May) and Rod Stewart later in June (24)."
KISS are set to play Birmingham's Resorts World Arena, Newcastle's Utilita Arena, London's O2 Arena, Manchester's AO Arena and Glasgow's OVO Hydro in June and July. The dates will fall in between concerts across Europe, which run between June 10 and July 2, July 12 and 15, and include a headline set at Hellfest in France. They'll also headline Sonic Temple festival in Columbus, Ohio on May 27.
Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer brought their live spectacle to Download in summer 2022, playing an epic 20-song set for their last ever headline appearance at the UK festival.
