Atreyu Tease 'The Moment You Find Your Flame' EP With Lead Single Gone, Announce New Album

Atreyu will release a new EP and album later this year.
The four-song 'The Moment You Find Your Flame' will arrive on August 18 via Spinefarm, led by lead single Gone, an arena-ready rocker peppered with powerful heavy-hitting riffs and a blistering guitar solo.
The news comes on the heels of spring's 'The Hope Of A Spark' EP, with the California metalcore band also announcing 'The Beautiful Dark Of Life' LP, due out later in 2023. It'll serve as the final chapter in a series of releases around the Seasons Of Life concept, though further details are still to be revealed. Guitarist Dan Jacobs said:
"We draw strength from each other and give each other the space and support to be the best, most creative person we can be. And together, right now, that makes us the best band we’ve ever been."
Bassist and vocalist Porter McKnight continued: "'The Moment You Find Your Flame' is the path you’ve set out on to recovery. You’ve followed the glimmer of hope and potential, and the way forward is beginning to reveal itself. But it is still only a little flame. It needs nurturing still."
Jacobs concluded: "Everything that we have put out to this point has built up to this moment. Something special is happening with Atreyu right now. We can feel the creativity and collaboration when the five of us get in the studio. We can feel the confidence we all give each other when we stand on stage together. And we can see it in the audience when they’re losing their minds. They’re having as good a time as we are ourselves."
Atreyu will support Iron Maiden at shows in Calgary, Edmonton and Vancouver in September and October. Before that, they'll also appear at California – Is For Lovers, Rocklahoma, and the Blue Ridge Rock Festival.
Later in the autumn, they'll bring their We Want Your Skulls World Tour to the UK and Europe. Tickets are on sale.
Their most recent album was 2021's 'Baptize'.
