Serpentwithfeet has released a new single, Safe Word.
Built around softly strummed Spanish guitar, the slow, sensual track serves as the second preview of the alt-R&B artist's third album, 'Grip', out digitally on February 16, with physical formats following on March 29 via Secretly Canadian.
Produced by Serpentwithfeet, whose real name is Josiah Wise, alongside the collective I Like That, it comes paired with a video directed by Wise and Micaiah Carter, below.
In October 2023, Wise teased the project with Damn Gloves, a collaboration with Los Angeles artist Ty Dolla $ign and South African singer Yanga YaYa.
