Arriving via Giant Music, Carsick was recorded during the sessions for the two-time Grammy Award nominee's 2023 album, 'Mono', her first record since going deaf in her right ear.
Penned by Flay and frequent collaborator Jason Suwito, the electronic-leaning rock song comes with a head-spinning video directed and edited by MILK Studios' Sonny Alvarez. Flay said:
"Carsick is about the moment you want to get off the ride. When the chaos isn’t fun anymore. I tried to capture both the dizzying feeling of being in a toxic relationship and the freedom that comes with leaving it."
K. Flay has Australian shows in the diary for February, before a North American tour in March.
