The Smile have shared a video for Friend Of A Friend.
The track features on the band's new album, 'Wall Of Eyes', which is released today (January 26) through XL Recordings. Other singles from the record include Bending Hectic and its title track.
The accompanying clip, meanwhile, was directed by Paul Thomas Anderson and premiered in 35mm alongside a surround sound album playback of the record at special events hosted by 18 independent cinemas worldwide last week. Cities included London, New York, Sydney, Seoul, Amsterdam, Tokyo, Mexico City, Jakarta and Los Angeles.
The trio, comprising Radiohead's Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood, and Sons of Kemet's Tom Skinner, will support the LP with a European tour in March, which includes London shows at Alexandra Palace and the Eventim Apollo. They'll also appear at The BBC Radio 6 Music Festival in Manchester.
In the summer, they'll embark on another round of European shows, with James Holden set to support on all 2024 headline dates. Tickets are on sale now.
