The nominees for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 2024 have been revealed.

In the running for the coveted accolade are Ozzy Osbourne (pictured), Mary J. Blige, Mariah Carey, Cher, Dave Matthews Band, Eric B. & Rakim, Foreigner, Peter Frampton, Jane's Addiction, Kool & The Gang, Lenny Kravitz, Oasis, Sinéad O'Connor, Sade, and A Tribe Called Quest.

Cher, Mariah Carey, Sinead O'Connor, Oasis, and Sade are among the first-time nominees, with Osbourne also receiving his first nod as a solo artist, having been inducted as a member of Black Sabbath in 2006.

The nominations are voted on by over 1,000 music historians, industry professionals and inducted artists, with the inductees announced in April, followed by the 39th annual induction ceremony in the fall in Cleveland, the home of the Rock Hall museum. The Fan Vote is live here until April 26.

Artists become eligible for inclusion in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 25 years after the release of their first official recording.

In 2023, Kate Bush, Rage Against The Machine, Willie Nelson, Missy Elliott, George Michael, Sheryl Crow and The Spinners were inducted.
