Lucy Dacus Announces Fourth Album 'Forever Is A Feeling', Schedules North American Tour

Lucy Dacus will return with her fourth solo studio album this spring.
'Forever Is A Feeling' will arrive on March 28, following up 2021's 'Home Video' and 2023's Grammy and BRIT Award-winning Boygenius LP 'The Record'.
Featuring 13 tracks, it boasts a star-studded cast of collaborators, with contributions from Dacus' Boygenius bandmates Phoebe Bridgers and Julien Baker, as well as Hozier, Blake Mills, Bartees Strange, Madison Cunningham, Collin Pastore, Jake Finch and Jay Som's Melina Duterte. Most of the material was penned between fall 2022 and last summer. Dacus said:
"I got kicked in the head with emotions. Falling in love, falling out of love. You have to destroy things in order to create things. And I did destroy a really beautiful life."
To coincide with the news, the singer-songwriter from Richmond, Virginia has released two tracks from the record, Ankles and Limerence. The former is a sensual offering that builds through a string arrangement, while the latter is a softer, piano-led ballad featuring orchestral strings. Dacus will support the LP with a 13-city North American tour in April and May, following a run of intimate shows in museums and special places across the US next month. Support on the trek will come from Katie Gavin of MUNA and Jasmine.4.t.
Tickets go on general sale at 12pm local time on January 24. Dacus has partnered with Plus1 so that $1 per ticket goes to supporting those impacted by the devastating Los Angeles wildfires via the organization's Plus1 LA Fires Fund.
