Teen Mortgage Announce Debut Album 'Devil Ultrasonic Dream' With First Single Box

Teen Mortgage have announced their debut album.
The US-via-UK punk duo, James Guile and Edward Barakauskas, will release 'Devil Ultrasonic Dream' on April 11 via Roadrunner Records. Commenting on the record, the title of which was inspired by America's Satanic Panic period in the '80s, Guile explained:
"'The Devil Ultrasonic Dream' is about realizing a fantasy that Christian fascists don’t understand or want you to have. The devil—Satan—has always been a symbol of counterculture."
Produced by the pair alongside the long-time collaborator Kenny Eaton, it's previewed by the two-minute first single, Box, a fuzzy and punky, garage-rock track brimming with raw energy. Head below to view the accompanying video, animated and directed by Adam Fuchs.
Teen Mortgage will support the LP with a spring North American tour, featuring support from Babe Haven, Spoon Benders and Upchuck on select dates. Head here for details.
They've also scheduled new UK shows in Bristol and London for June, following an appearance at Download festival. Tickets for the new dates go on general sale at 10am local time on Friday (February 7). They'll also support Weezer in Dublin as part of the Trinity Summer Series on July 2.
