Erasure vocalist Andy Bell has shared another track from his upcoming solo album.
Dance For Mercy incorporates elements of disco with his signature synth-pop sound and serves as the latest preview of 'Ten Crowns', due out on May 2 via Crown Recordings. Introducing it, he said:
"Sometimes I wonder how many lives (God, or whatever you wanna call it) has given me: from heart attacks, to HIV, to being run over as a kid, nearly drowning in the sea and smashing over the handlebars of my bicycle into a brick wall! I have no idea why any of us are here, so it’s best just to have a bloody good dance!"
The song follows on from the previously shared cuts from the 10-track record, Don't Cha Know and Breaking Thru The Interstellar. The album also features guest vocals from Blondie's Debbie Harry on the track Heart's A Liar, and Italian-American powerhouse vocalist Sarah Potenza on Lies So Deep.
Bell will accompany the LP's release with a UK and European tour in May and June. Tickets are on sale now.
