Lottery Winners Share New Track Ragdoll Featuring Nickelback's Chad Kroeger

Wednesday, 19 March 2025 Written by Jon Stickler

Lottery Winners have recruited Nickelback's Chad Kroeger for a new track, Ragdoll.

The frontman contributes his distinctive gravelly tones to the pop-rock ballad, which is led by vocals from bassist Katie Lloyd. She said:

"It’s so surreal to have gone from growing up listening to Nickelback, to getting to play a full arena tour with them last year, and now I’m singing a duet with Chad Kroeger!

"This song is about one of those relationships I think we’ve all unfortunately had that isn’t good for you, but you find it difficult to break away from. Luckily, I did, and this song is about that.”

Kroeger added: "After I heard the demo, the melody was welded in my head for a few days straight. I knew we could do something fun together and I’m glad we did!"

Written by Lottery Winners' frontman Thom Rylance, it serves as the final preview of the Manchester band's new album, 'KOKO', which stands for "Keep On Keeping On", due out this Friday (March 21).

Commenting on the song's accompanying video, which premieres on YouTube at 7pm GMT tonight (March 19), Lloyd said: "The video for Ragdoll has been our most ambitious yet, we had to build a full doll house stage set design, and Chad being in Canada meant we had to be creative with incorporating him into the video too! I’m really proud of what we achieved with it."

Other singles already shared from the record include Turn Around, UFO, Superpower, Dirt And Gold with Frank Turner, and You Again featuring Reverend and The Makers' Jon McClure.

Lottery Winners recently wrapped up a UK and European tour, which included a date supporting Frank Turner at London's Alexandra Palace, where he celebrated his 3000th gig. They'll celebrate 'KOKO' with an out-store tour during April, before supporting Robbie Williams at huge venues across the UK and Europe this summer, alongside multiple festival appearances. Tickets are on sale now.
