Miley Cyrus Announces New Album 'Something Beautiful'

Miley Cyrus has announced her ninth studio album.

'Something Beautiful' will arrive through Columbia on May 30, following up 2023's 'Endless Summer Vacation'. Executive produced by Cyrus and Shawn Everett, it'll comprise 13 original songs, though a tracklist is still to be revealed. Head below to view the record's striking cover art, which was photographed by Glen Luchford and features the pop singer wearing archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture.

Alongside news of the record, the powerhouse vocalist has also revealed that it will be accompanied by a "visual film" of the same name, which will "showcase Miley in a striking visual narrative, featuring archival Thierry Mugler couture, Jean Paul Gaultier, custom Alexander McQueen, and Alaïa."

Cyrus produced it with XYZ and Panos Cosmatos, in collaboration with Columbia Records and Live Nation, and co-directed it with Jacob Bixenman and Brendan Walter. Cinematography was handled by Benoît Debie. Check out the trailer below.

Since her last album, Cyrus has collaborated with Pharrell Williams on the single Doctor (Work It Out), and Beyoncé on II Most Wanted, for which they won a Grammy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance.

Last December, she dropped Beautiful That Way, a song written and recorded for the Gia Coppola film The Last Showgirl starring Pamela Anderson.
