Addison Rae has shared her second song of the year, Headphones On.
Following February single High Fashion, the R&B-inspired track arrives ahead of the TikToker-turned-pop star's debut album, out on June 6 via Columbia Records. Co-written and produced by Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd, it comes paired with a video filmed in Reykjavik, Iceland and directed by Mitch Ryan.
Earlier this month, Rae made a surprise appearance at Arca's Coachella set, during which she teased the album release date by flashing her underwear with "June 6" written on them. She's yet to reveal any further details.
In 2023, she released a five-song EP titled 'AR', featuring Charli XCX on the song 2 Die 4. Last year, she appeared on a remix of Charli XCX's track Von Dutch from 'Brat and it's completely different but also still Brat', a remix version of her album 'BRAT'.
UPDATE 24/04: Addison Rae has officially announced her debut album, which will be self-titled and released on June 6. in a social media post, she said:
"I love the entirety of this project with all of me. A mirror. A deep desperation and desire to understand myself better. A true collection of my proudest work yet. My dream cover. My dream collaborators."
