The Pigeon Detectives have scheduled their The Best Of Tour: Still Not Sorry for the autumn.
The Leeds indie band will call in Glasgow, Nottingham, Leeds, Birmingham, London and Manchester between October 2 and November 29. Tickets go on general sale at 10am on April 29.
The five-piece have also announced a new album, 'Still Not Sorry', a Best Of compilation featuring the biggest songs from their six studio albums, as well as alternate versions of the tracks I'm Not Sorry, Emergency and Done In Secret. The band said in a statement:
"If a band is lucky (and hardworking, and fairly decent at what they do!) there comes a time in their career when they realise that the journey they started as mates messing about on guitars has culminated in a hefty bunch of songs that people actually care about and connect with!
"At this point, the only logical next step is to take a breath, reflect back through the archives and assemble a ‘Best Of’ album. We’ve reached that point Pigeon Heads! This collection of songs has bound five friends from Leeds together for life. Songs that have taken us on adventures around the globe and allowed us to perform on some of the biggest stages on the planet.
"As a band it’s always felt like we had to do things the hard way, even with an amazing set of supportive fans. But we just kept on writing songs, kept on playing gigs and kept on being The Pigeon Detectives. Us against the world. We weren’t sorry then, and we’re Still Not Sorry now!"
'Still Not Sorry' will arrive through Dance To The Radio on May 23, following up 2023's 'TV Show'.
The Pigeon Detectives will play several festivals over the spring and summer, including In It Together, Live At Leeds in the Park, the Isle Of Wight Festival, Kendal Calling and more. Tickets for those dates are on sale now.
