Nova Twins Tease 'Parasites & Butterflies' With New Single Piranha

Nova Twins have shared a new song called Piranha.
Serving up rumbling bass and searing guitar riffs, the politically-charged track marks the third preview of the duo's new album, 'Parasites & Butterflies', due out on August 29 via Marshall Records. They said:
"This track explores growing tensions around the world, which can feel overwhelming at times, leaving you unsure of where to start. It delves into themes of confrontation, rebellion, and fear. Using imagery of predatory waters, it symbolises vulnerability, power, and questioning authority. Piranha also reflects society's cutthroat nature, but emphasises coming together and supporting each other. There is strength in unity."

Recorded in Vermont in the United States with producer Rich Costey, the follow-up to 2022's 'Supernova' will also include the previously unveiled singles Soprano and Monsters.
Amy Love and Georgia South will support the record with an already scheduled UK and European tour in the autumn. Before that, they'll play multiple festivals over the coming months, including Bearded Theory, In It Together Festival, Boomtown Fair, and a return to Glastonbury Festival. They'll also support Lenny Kravitz at select shows in Europe, and Biffy Clyro at their Eden Sessions gigs in Cornwall on July 9 and 10. Tickets are on sale now.
