Mariah Carey and Pitbull will headline Australia's revived touring festival Fridayz Live later this year.
Returning for its first edition since 2023, the four-city run will commence on October 17 at Brisbane Showgrounds, before heading to Sydney’s ENGIE Stadium on October 18, Langley Park in Perth on October 24, and Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on October 25.
Celebrating R&B, hip hop and pop, the festival will also feature sets from Wiz Khalifa, Lil Jon, Eve, Tinie Tempah and Jordin Sparks. Tickets for all dates go on general sale at 11am local time on June 2.
Five-time Grammy-winner Mariah Carey also has UK shows in the diary for August. She put out her latest studio album, ’Caution’, in 2018, though she has dropped several anniversary versions of previous records since then, as well as a companion album to her 2020 Apple TV+ special, Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special.
Pitbull will bring his Party After Dark Tour back to the UK, Ireland and Europe in June. He released his most recent album, ‘Trackhouse’, in 2023, and dropped ‘Trackhouse (Daytona 500 Edition)’ in 2024, which features seven different songs to the album’s tracklist.
